The Teen Dream who is slaying every ‘good makeup day’
Meet Phillipa Gibbons, an18-year old self-employed entrepreneur/MUA based in Newcastle who is sailing through the competitive makeup industry to take her stand. Aside from her flawless base and dreamy cut-creases, what has made her stand out from the crowd is her experimentation with colour, enough to make us turn from the classic smoky eye to a bold raindow winged eyeliner every time.

I'm She’s dabbled in special effects and tried her hand at the classic smokey eye, but in the past few months her real calling has been anything colourful, which is so refreshing in today’s blur of makeup artists. Unlike makeup artists of her experience (and age!) she has found a platform to propel herself forwards against the competition because let’s face it, beauty is a very competitive industry. She is most known for her eccentric and darkly humoured creations such as the ‘My Bloody Valentine’, the ‘Candy Girl’, the ‘Colbalt Skelteon’ and the “Coloured Killer Clown”.
Since finding her unique stamp her followers have increased and she has gained recognition within the industry. Used to working from her bedroom at home she has built an empire of followers and clients and all has paid off as she has now worked with well-known MUA’s such as beauty star Mitchell MUA (@mmmmitchell) in Manchester and recently has landed a spot in a local salon where she can now work from a more proffesional environment to express her skills.
